The VooDoo ZipLine Las Vegas is an exhilarating attraction that delivers a Las Vegas experience unlike any other. It sends guests soaring higher than 400 feet in the air at electrifying speeds, offering 360-degree open-air views of the Las Vegas Strip.The one-minute and 10-second zip ride takes off from VooDoo Lounge, located atop Rio’s 50-story Masquerade tower, sending guests soaring more than 800 feet to the Ipanema tower and reaching speeds up to 33 miles per hour. Hoover Dam (30 miles from Las Vegas)
Want to explore what there is off the strip in Las Vegas? Why not take the famous “dam tour” of the Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Nevada and Arizona. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The Dam is 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas. Don’t have a car,? Check out the guided tours that depart from the Las Vegas strip. $99/adult.

Hoover Dam Powerplant Tour includes a guided tour of the Nevada wing of the Powerplant, Visitor Center Exhibits and Observation Deck, and Original Exhibit Building. Powerplant tour tickets sold from 9 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Powerplant Tour tickets sold on top of dam. A limited number of Powerplant Tour tickets are available each day; selling out early is expected. Persons with pacemakers or other implanted devices – Be advised that generators produce an electromagnetic field which may interfere with the operation of certain devices. Persons with Claustrophobia – Be advised the Powerplant Tour includes an elevator ride and walking through a tunnel.
